Booking Form:
The booking form must be completed in full, and signed by a representative of the party occupying the villa and must be 21 years of age or older, who is responsible to ensure that all members of the party adhere to the terms & conditions. We reserve the right to refuse admittance if this is not observed.
Deposit:
A deposit of £150/$250 per week (or amount agreed) is required when booking the holiday. As soon as the deposit is received, your booking will be confirmed in writing. This deposit is non-refundable. The balance of the rental cost will be required 8 weeks prior to departure. Bookings made within 8 weeks of your vacations commencing require the full amount when the reservation is made.
Bookings:
All bookings will be considered cancelled if the deposit and booking form is not received within 7 days from date of booking. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the balance is not paid by the due date.
Amendments:
Alterations to the confirmed booking can be made at the Homeowners’ discretion and the client’s request – an administration fee of £25 will be charged for client amendments. Please confirm changes in writing along with a £25 cheque made payable to E George.
Security Bond:
A security bond of £150/$250 is payable with the balance payment. This is to guard against any loss or damage, whether it is wilful or accidental, to the holiday villa during your party's occupancy. All breakages, losses, accidents and/or incidents MUST be reported to the Management Company as soon as possible. Any costs incurred to remedy the situation will be deducted from the bond. The bond is refundable after a satisfactory inventory report from our management company within 28 days of departure. In the event of damage or loss in excess of the bond money, you will be invoiced accordingly and payment will be due within 28 days.
Villa Address:
The villa address will be given after the final payment has cleared.
Cancellation:
We reserve the right to cancel the holiday if the deposit or balance payment has not been received as stated. Should you cancel after the deposit money is paid but more than 8 weeks before your departure date, then your deposit will be lost. Should you cancel after 8 weeks prior to your departure date, then the full amount will be lost. We strongly recommend that you take out the appropriate holiday insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed; this should cover you against cancellation beyond your control.
Accommodation:
To comply with USA Hotel/motel regulations, only named persons on the booking form may stay in the villa. Subletting, sharing or assigning is strictly prohibited, and anyone found in breach of these conditions will be asked to leave the villa immediately. An adult over the age of 21 must accompany persons under the age of 18. At no time should children be left alone in the property.
Pets & Animals:
No pets or animals are allowed in the villa or in the pool area at any time.
Smoking:
For the comfort and safety of clients and guests, smoking is not permitted inside the villa. Guests wishing to smoke are asked to use the pool area only. By law the villa is hardwired with smoke detectors, and it is a federal offence to interfere or obstruct them.
Swimming Pool:
Swimming pools can be dangerous. Anyone using the swimming pool does so at their own risk. The swimming pool is NOT to be used by children or non swimmers without adult supervision. No diving in the pool. No running around the pool. The swimming pool is a free facility included along with the villa. The heating of the pool is optional and must be ordered at the time of booking and paid for with final balance. In the event that pool heat is required and paid for, we do not imply and we cannot guarantee the temperatures cannot be guaranteed as this is governed by many factors including prevailing weather conditions, etc. In the event of pool heater breakdown the Homeowners’ liability will be limited to refunding the pool heat money paid by the guest for the number of proven days the heater is out of action - no other action will be taken or compensation paid.
Telephone:
The telephone is available for guests to use. All local calls are free. For any other calls you can use major credit cards, please note that using the telephone system this way can be expensive, or you can purchase a prepaid calling card locally at most convenience stores (including Wal-Mart).
Holiday Insurance:
We strongly recommend that you take out the necessary holiday or travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, which may require you to cancel your holiday.
Force Majeure:
The owner accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever fore any loss or damage or alteration to the terms of the booking caused by events beyond the owners control including (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) war, civil commotion, flight delays or cancellations, adverse weather conditions, fire, or industrial dispute.
Complaints:
In the unlikely event that the client has any reason for complaint or dissatisfaction, they must contact the management company caring for the villa in Florida immediately, so that remedial action may be taken. Details of how to contact the Management Company can be found in the villa.
Arrival:
The villa will be available for occupation from 4pm local time, on the first day of the rental period, unless you have made other arrangements at the time of booking.
Departure:
The villa must be vacated by 11am on the departure date, unless you have made other arrangements at the time of booking.
Neighbours:
The villa is situated in a quiet residential area, we ask that guests respect the neighbours at all times.
Keys and Locks:
Instructions for keys will be given prior to you arriving at the villa. Guests are responsible for the keys during their stay at the villa and there is a 'key box' available - keys should always be left in the key box on leaving the villa. If the keys are lost or stolen, the guests will be responsible of the costs associated with the replacement of keys, locks, and any damage incurred to re-enter the property.
Liability:
The villa owner accepts no responsibility for loss damage, accident and/or injury to persons and/or their property or personal possessions whatsoever during their stay or as a result of the holiday booking, however caused.
